F.I.A.T. members have developed a sense of community through participating in a variety of activities together. Many are listed below.
Lumen Christi Educational Co-Op
Our Co-Op meets for 8 weeks each semester at the former Catholic school associated with Assumption Parish in Coal City. We meet on Friday mornings. Many families choose to start their morning with 8:30 a.m. mass at the church and then gather for breakfast at the school. After breakfast, the pledge, prayer, and announcements are said as well as our song "This Little Light of Mine" is sung. The first class period starts at 9:35 a.m. There are 3 class periods, each 50 minutes long. We end at 12:15 p.m. Past classes offered include Religion, Music, Science, and Language Experience. There are currently three age levels being offered.

Little Flowers Girls' Club
Our Little Flowers club meets the second Thursday of each month, 1-3 p.m. at a F.I.A.T. member's home in Plainfield. We use the official Little Flowers materials published by Ecco Homo Press to guide us through a talk on virtue and saints. We also have a craft and a time for song and dance. The current girls age in range from 4 to 7 years. In June all of the girls will have the option to participate in His His Steps Catholic Dance School's annual recital, performing what they have learned throughout the year. (For more information on In His Steps Catholic Dance School visit www.inhissteps.biz.)
